Since the advertisements began for the holiday shopping season, I’ve noticed an influx of home security and alarm ads.
24/7 monitoring, live 2-way audio, and remote management via internet connected device are all just about standard these days.
What happened to the good old days, when all you needed was a locked door and a dog?
I guess criminals just aren’t scared of dogs anymore. They have no problem breaking in to a home, and then filing a lawsuit against the homeowner when their dog attacks them.
Honestly, I’m surprised we don’t see more lawsuits by criminals, claiming the sharp glass of the window or door they broke in, cut me. This is just about how ridiculous this has become.
Suddenly, its too big of a risk to discuss a knife or gun collection, or owning anything else of value for that matter.
I do not need an alarm or a vicious dog. Instead, I take a different approach!
My home is protected by me.
I squeeze off two to the chest and one to the head.
CRIMINALS – Do you feel lucky?
Also, I believe wives and kids should be taught about the responsibility of owning a gun. They should also know how to safely handle and use any gun kept in the house.
If you watch the video below, kids don’t have to be very old to learn.
